You can login and pay with either Amazon or Paypal at the checkout and login pages

> What currencies can I pay in?

At present we accept payments in £ sterling for orders shipped to UK.

You can login and pay with either Amazon or Paypal at the checkout and login pages

> Is it safe to order online?

Home AV Direct online is secure.

We realise how important it is to securely store any information that you provide, so we maintain the highest levels of security. Our site uses high-level SSL encryption technology, the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. You can therefore rest assured that we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously.

When you place an order you may see a box appear on your screen which displays some information from your bank. It may say "Verified by Visa" or "MasterCard Secure Code". You will be asked to provide some digits from the password you have saved with your card. This password is linked to your card and is checked by your bank as an additional security check to protect your card. It is not the same password that you used to login on our site.

You can tell whether a page is secure as 'https' will replace the 'http' at the front of the www.homeavdirect.co.uk in your browser address window. A small locked padlock will also appear in the bottom bar of your browser window.

> Can I use my online discount voucher instore?

Unfortunately, the online discount voucher can only be redeemed online and it cannot be redeemed instore.

>What are the online protection benefits?

Shopping is made safer at Home AV Direct.  In partnership with Visa, Mastercard and Geotrust, we have put in place a security scheme to guard your account against unauthorized users.  This means that you can enjoy a much safer, more reliable shopping experience.

Your bank or card issuer may already be registered to this security scheme. If so, then you will have noticed the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode pages when placing an order with us.

The benefits of registering your card in this scheme are twofold:

  1. A direct link with your bank or card issuer means you can make purchases at Home AV Direct quickly, safely and reliably.
  2. You can choose your own private code; to protect you against unauthorized users online.  This code is linked to your card only and not your computer.

After placing an order, you will be taken to a payment authorisation page.  The information held on this page is served by your bank or card issuer.  Here you will have the opportunity to register for Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode. Simply enter your details to sign up for the service.

Once you have entered into the scheme, set up your new private code and had your identity confirmed by your bank / card issuer, you can continue to shop online, safely and securely.

Note: Your private code will be required for all future purchases at homeavdirect.co.uk (and other participating retailers).  If you do not want to register into this scheme at checkout, then we may not be able to process your order and an alternative method of payment may be required.

For further information, you can contact your bank directly, or visit Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode.
