Providing the SUB M-10 D with the feature “cinema mode”, the SUB M-10 D will bring loads of punch into any movie experience. With a down-firing woofer, the SUB M-10 D easily reflects the bass out in the room enabling the perfect room integration. All together, this subwoofer is engineered to perform equally well on both music and movies.
Designed and constructed from all our knowledge and experience in acoustics, the solid MDF cabinet abides the tough DALI specifications.
A 10 inch long stroke design woofers featuring rigid carbon fiber cones, dual spider, low loss suspension, and massive magnet system are fitted into an elegantly styled, compact enclosure and combined with a powerful digital amplifier with a dynamic output of 500W RMS.
AMPLIFIER
The powerful, integrated 300 Watt RMS Class D amplifier is highly linear, and will follow and render the required signal with an absolute minimum of bias. Designed not only for continuous power, but also for peak power, this subwoofer is able to deliver 500 Watt Peak Power. This is very relevant when it comes to both movie and music signals.
Switchmode power supply is part of the reason for very low power consumption and for an impressive efficiency within the amplifier. In unison the high-efficiency amplifier section and power supply construction generate an absolute minimum of heat loss. For that reason you will find no heat sink on this subwoofer.
The integrated limiter compares the input signal amplitude to the potential output signal level. If this circuit detects a potential problem the limiter will cut the signal in a soft manner and without affecting peak power.
Fitted with controls for gain, cut-off frequency, and phase, the DALI SUB M-10 D will adapt to any front speaker and room acoustics. And with a choice of LFE and LINE inputs it can be connected to almost any amplifier, receiver or processor.
DALI SUB M-10 D allows you to choose between movie and a music mode, also via the remote control. For a realistic and powerful rendering of e.g. explosions in a movie, the sound mode should be set to CINEMA, amplifying the lowest frequencies to ensure a realistic experience. For a neutral and very linear performance, the sound mode should be set to HIFI. This will ensure a precise rendering of all the details of the music, while optimizing the integration with your front speakers.
The subwoofer also features a dedicated remote control that allows you to adjust level, crossover frequency and phase from your favourite listening position. Mute and Power On/Off can also be controlled from a distance.
ACTIVE WOOFER
DALI SUB M-10 D is equipped with an active 10” down-firing woofer. The cone is a sandwich construction with carbon fibre at the front paired with paper pulp at the back. The geometry and the material applied eliminate the need for a dust cap. The result is a rigid cone with superior breakup characteristics while at the same time being very lightweight and agile. Indeed these are prerequisites for a precise bass reproduction, rendering all the dynamics of the signal.
The 4-layer voice coil is mounted on an aluminium former. In order to reduce potential micro-resonance, the inside of the former has been lined with a thin paper pulp. Voice coil diameter is a solid 63.5 mm to ensure maximum power handling. A large 2-piece ferrite magnet with a vented pole piece ensures that the voice coil is kept in a tight grip, even when the party gets going.
For optimum control of the cone excursion, the woofer features dual spiders, situated 12 mm apart. In this way the voice coil maintains a 100% piston-like behaviour, even at very high sound pressure level.
Altogether DALI’s low-loss approach is implemented to the maximum. This goes for the surround as well. Made from wide, natural rubber, this part of the suspension also guarantees linearity across the entire 25 mm cone excursion. Even the oversized litz wires are made from solid silver clad 99.999% oxygen free cupper for optimum signal feed.
The chassis is made from aluminium to prevent any magnetic loss. And lots of research has gone into optimizing the entire construction for lowest possible mechanical and magnetic loss, and to ensure a free airflow.
CABINET
The SUB M-10 D cabinet is designed and constructed from all our knowledge and experience in acoustics, the solid MDF cabinet abides the tough DALI specifications.
DALI SUB M-10 D features a solid, down-firing woofer, able to move lots of air. To ensure a stable working environment for this woofer the base of the cabinet is made from 25 mm plywood. This guarantees a powerful grip on the driver, eliminating any loss related to the fixation of the woofer itself.
Applying a sleek aluminium base and spacers made from solid aluminium, the entire cabinet is effectively decoupled from the floor. Almost appearing to hover above the floor the distance of 45 mm eliminates any potential turbulence from the space between the cabinet and the floor itself. At the same time the proximity to the floor ensures that the benefit of having a down-firing woofer is maintained; a higher efficiency and a seamless acoustic coupling to the room.
Measuring only 370 x 340 x 340 mm (HxWxD) the cabinet is extremely compact despite this subwoofers ability to go both loud and deep. It feature 10 layers of PE lacquer. And in between, each layer is hand polished to ensure a deep, high gloss and elegant surface.

How will you send my item?
We ship to addresses within the UK using Royal Mail and DPD couriers.
How much does delivery cost?
Standard 2-3 working day delivery is FREE on all orders to mainland UK. Next working day courier service is available on all orders for a small fee of £4.99. On some items this is provided for FREE.
For orders to UK Non-mainland and International destinations, there will be an additional charge at checkout. Please see below for more information.
How long does delivery take?
Depending on the delivery service you choose, delivery usually takes between 1-3 working days to mainland UK from the moment we despatch your order. Orders to UK non-mainland and international destinations can take longer.
When will you despatch my order?
Orders placed before 3pm are processed and despatched the same day (excluding bank holidays and weekends). Orders placed on weekends will be processed and despatched the following working day.

Can I track my delivery?
Yes - Order tracking is offered as standard on all items, whether they are shipped via DPD or Royal Mail. You will receive your tracking information via email once we have despatched your order.
UK Non-mainland and International destinations.
Due to the UK leaving the EU, some of our delivery partners have changed the way we ship to international and offshore destinations. This means that for the time being we are unable to ship items to these locations.
We are still accepting orders to these destinations however delivery times and prices are not final. We will confirm via email once we know more from our delivery partner.
Shipping for all items to UK Non-Mainland and International destinations will incur a charge at checkout. This charge is not final and we may need to charge for additional postage if required.
Shipping to international destinations may require further security checks and I.D. may need to be provided by the cardholder. We reserve the right to cancel any orders where you are do not pass our security checks or do not pay for appropriate postage.
Please note that we are unable to ship some items outside the UK. To avoid any disapointment please contact us before making your order.

If you're not happy with your item or you've changed your mind.
Even though we're sure you'll be happy with your purchase, it's important that you are aware of how we deal with returns in the event that you need to send something back.
We understand how inconvenient it can be when you buy a product and aren't 100% satisfied with it. For this reason we have designed our returns policy to prevent any further inconvenience to you in these instances.
Under 30 days

You can return your goods for a full refund or exchange as long as you inform us of your intention to return the goods within 30 days of receipt, starting from the day after you receive your goods (Exclusions apply, see below.)

All return costs are down to the buyer and it is recommended that you return your items using a trackable method with appropriate insurance (if required).

Once we have confirmed your return, please ensure that you return the item within 14 days.

If a returns number is provided then please ensure that the parcel has this clearly marked.

Items need to be returned in "as new" condition in their original packaging. We don't mind if you open the product to check it, however any used or damaged products will be subject to a 25% handling fee so please take care when opening your items.

We will not offer a refund after 30 days of you receiving your delivery unless your product is faulty.
Exclusions from our returns policy
As we're sure you'll understand, there are some products that we can't offer returns on due to their nature. These include:

Special order items and cables cut from a reel (priced per metre). These items will be clearly identifiable.

In-Ear headphones due to health and hygiene reasons.

Products that include software which require activation.
Please note that these exclusions do not apply to items that become faulty.
If your product becomes faulty
We endeavour to get your items to you in fully working order, however in the event that your items do become faulty, please read below on what you should do next.
In a lot of cases with some products, faults can be fixed by performing some basic troubleshooting, so to prevent any further inconvenience to you we advise that you contact our Customer Service team who can guide you through some basic troubleshooting before sending items back.
Under 30 days

If your items become faulty within 30 days of delivery you are entitled to a full refund or exchange. Please contact our customer service centre who will provide necessary returns details.

Please send the items back with a cover note including a description of the fault and your original order number.

Once we have fully tested the item and confirmed the fault, we will process the refund or exchange including cost of carriage back to us (within reason).

If during our testing we cannot find a fault, no refund will be given and you will be charged for delivery of the item back to you.
After 30 days
- After 30 days you will still be able to get your faulty items repaired or replaced within the manufacturers warranty and we will be happy to assist you with this. Please contact our customer service team to find out the best way to get your items repaired or replaced. Please be aware that after 30 days we will not cover you for any carriage costs.
