Punchy Bass

The ASW608 is Bowers & Wilkins' smallest subwoofer, but that doesn't stop it from hitting hard. The 8-inch woofer has the ability to reach frequencies much below those of typical floor-standing speakers, allowing you to experience a whole new level of sound. Epic soundtracks now have the scale they deserve, and music now sounds more dynamic and lifelike.

Controlled Sound

The ASW608 keeps a strong grip on the bass with its 200-watt amplifier. The hybrid paper/Aramid cone is also extremely stiff, allowing for pinpoint precision. This, combined with the sub's powerful magnet, ensures that the bass is tight, sensitive, and doesn't wallow like weaker subs can. With the correct material, though, the long-throw woofer may produce enough bass to rattle the windows.

Big power from a super-compact cabinet

With a larger cabinet to help limit the forces, delivering big power is easier. With the ASW608, Bowers & Wilkins has taken a more difficult path. Extremely thick cabinet walls and outstanding rigidity help to offset internal pressure. It's not a cheap option, but it ensures that the ASW608 keeps its high-power output while remaining tiny enough to fit in small to medium-sized rooms.

Fully adjustable

The ASW608 offers a wide range of adjustments for sound that's ideally customised to your space. Three-stage bass extension and EQ switches, in addition to the normal volume and low-pass frequency adjustments, giving you the optimum amount of bass for your room, subwoofer position, and personal taste. Simply flick the phase switch for smoothly blended bass in the event the subwoofer is positioned behind you.
