Denon really have throughally thought out the design and what their goal was with the Cara. They wanted to product an all time classic high end performing surround sound av amplifier which combines usability and necessity without the need for more home cinema components other than speaker and a display device.

As Denon are one of the leaders in blu-ray technology the Denon Cara picture is as you would expect. It’s ability to bring extra colour and detail to life is exceptional. It’s crispness is something which we have seen in the high end Denon transport DVD2500BT a legend in the blu-ray market.

Audio again is something that the Denon Cara (S5DB) 5.1 System does exceptionally well. It’s stereo and home cinema reproductions are brought to life with the extensive inner workings of what Denon have carried out on with the Cara’s internal components.

Musically Denon have also though very hard and it shows with CD playback being as good as any of Denon’s better CD players. If you have an iPod Denon have also thought of this by including a direct USB input at the front, which cleverly disappears, when you are not using it!

Looks wise, this is something we feel is outstanding on the Denon Cara (S5DB) and will stand the test of time like many classic hifi components, which have gone before it.

As a total package their really is nothing like it! Denon with the Cara have created what many have been searching for, for sometime, a simple bespoke home entertainment package, which ticks all and will keep everyone happy in the household.
